Digitized by @zweitkanalalltagskultureni2140 ▬ Information about us ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The LVR Institute for Regional Studies and Regional History For almost five decades we have been recording everyday life in the Rhineland in moving images. We are now the only scientists in Germany to use the medium of film specifically for research and presentation. The approximately 260 film productions created in recent decades are irreplaceable documents of lost knowledge from agriculture, crafts, industrial work and the diverse regional customs. Today we use the medium of film primarily to document current processes of change and to accompany people in the Rhineland in their lives. This results in films on intercultural phenomena and problems, on changes in the world of work, on new forms of social coexistence and on dealing with rituals, customs and traditions. All film documentaries from the LVR Institute for Regional Studies and Regional History are also available on DVD. You can find the complete film catalogue on our homepage under Everyday Culture - Films. ► https://rheinische-landeskunde.lvr.de
