During the battles of the Winter War, Summa was broken on the Isthmus on February 13, 1940. The worst places were occupied by Finnish soldiers. This video examines the events, especially in the case of the 6th (6th) company of the 13th Infantry Regiment. The company consisted mainly of men from Vehmaa and local Lahti. The 30-minute video is compiled from material filmed in Summa in 2003 and 2005 and from later interviews. During the filming, buses were still allowed to drive to the Summa area, but this was later blocked. The military history expert is Markku Vainio from Rauma. In addition, the video interviews Erik Muggo (1916 – 2011) from Upper Finland, who was from Vehmaa during the war. The video is filmed in a 3:4 aspect ratio.
