San Lorenzo di Sebato/St. Lorenzen (im Pustertal) (BZ) [IT] - Piazza Franz Hellweger - Parish Church of San Lorenzo Martire The construction of the church dates back to the 13th century, the same period in which the Egerer chapel annexed to it was built. In the 16th century the parish church was renovated and expanded. The church has two bell towers: a smaller one, in Romanesque style, and a larger one, in Gothic style, built in 1454. Inside them there is a large concert of six bells, initially cast by Luigi Colbacchini of Trento in 1922; the second and third bells were recast respectively by Daciano Colbachini of Padua in 1961 and by Johann Grassmayr of Innsbruck in 1969. There is also a small bell for the dead cast in 1905 by Carlo Chiappani. The second bell is placed in the Romanesque bell tower, the others in the Gothic bell tower. BELLS DATA 1.
