This silence, which might seem harmless at first glance since it is not an aggression properly speaking - no insults, no threats, no blows - is a manifestation of manipulation at its peak, to deliberately exercise control, to inflict pain through lack which is one of the most insidious and profound forms of manipulation. This intentionally established strategy of silence creates much more than a communication void since it is clearly established that it is a real weapon of destabilization and psychological weakening. It is one of the most insidious and painful forms of manipulation. So what are the psychological mechanisms and strategies of this sneaky and destructive way of acting?
