Riding every day, cuddling cute horses and spending lots of time in the fresh air - that's how many people imagine everyday working life at a riding school. But working with horses is a pretty tough job! Hannah spends a day looking at the everyday working life of horse manager Darleen for "Follow.me reports". Do you ride all day? Or are there other tasks involved? Although being able to ride is part of the job, Hannah actually has another obligation on her agenda: mucking out the stables. Pretty exhausting! Darleen's working day at the riding school lasts ten hours - six days a week! In addition to mucking out the stables, her tasks also include feeding, caring for and riding lessons. Caution and respect are a natural part of dealing with the animals, but so is learning the language of horses: what does it mean, for example, when the eyes are wide open and the ears are flat? Luckily, Hannah has a competent interpreter at her side in Darleen. For Darleen, working on the pony farm, in harmony with the horses, is a real dream job. But not all stables pay such attention to the welfare of the animals. Darleen tells Hannah about farms that exploit their horses as working animals and even let them almost starve. And the 23-year-old doesn't think much of horse racing either. Like many of you: Last October, Robin was out with jockey Maxim and you had a lot of criticism about how the animals are treated at horse races. Your numerous comments and exciting discussions under the video have motivated us to look into another way of keeping horses. After all, Hannah is about to have her first riding lesson on Wanjo! In a very short time, Darleen will teach her how to ride properly. Walk, trot and gallop - will Hannah be able to stay on the horse, or maybe even fall? Darleen is a great riding instructor. As always, Hannah has your questions in her saddlebag: How much does the hobby actually cost? And is riding actually the right thing for Hannah? Whether the happiness on earth really lies on the back of a horse and what it takes to turn your hobby into a career and become a horse manager - Hannah will find out for you! _______________ IN THE VIDEO: Hannah (Klein aber Hannah) on YouTube: / @kleinaberhannah Hannah (Klein aber Hannah) on Instagram: / kleinaberhannah Click here for Hannah's playlist: • follow Hannah _______________ SOURCES: German Equestrian Federation MUSIC: Odesza (feat.
