Assassination – a 1959 Polish psychological war drama directed by Jerzy Passendorfer. A war drama that is a reconstruction of the preparations and execution of the death sentence carried out during the German occupation on February 1, 1944 on the SS and Police Leader for the Warsaw District, Franz Kutschera. Kutschera was sentenced to death by the Home Army Headquarters for mass executions of Poles in occupied Warsaw. The decision was made in agreement with the Polish Government in Exile.
