In 1807, the notables of Rashid city decide to send a message to the governor of Egypt, Muhammad Ali, to send supplies and armies to save the besieged city. The choice falls on Harfoush, who can break through the siege of the British armies. Harfoush goes and on the way meets a wise man who transports him to the twentieth century. He finds himself in a contradictory world where Cairo is modern, and he is arrested as a madman. The nurse (Inas) sympathizes with him and takes him to her house after learning the truth about him. The antiquities dealer tries to take his sword, and Harfoush insists on reaching the governor, and he does not understand what is going on around him until recently. He is arrested in order to inform the antiquities thieves about the treasure hidden by one of the wealthy men of his era, then he decides to return to the era from which he came.
