From the end of May at the latest, the Henningsen Landtechnik family from Böklund in northern Schleswig-Holstein is in constant service for the farmers. Because when the grass harvest begins, every minute counts. In the 24-hour emergency service, workshop manager Ole Henningsen repairs tractors and all types of agricultural machinery, procures new parts and organizes replacement machines. Ole's father Holger Henningsen and his brother Thorsten Henningsen meanwhile take care of the day-to-day business of the company: repairing, buying, selling. There is a lot to do, especially in summer. Master agricultural machinery mechanic Ole Henningsen travels several hundred kilometers a week all over Schleswig-Holstein in the workshop van. During the harvest, it is significantly more. An emergency call reaches him directly from the field. The farmers have to harvest barley, but the combine harvester is not prepared. And the boss, who normally drives it, is ill.
