The Ford Fiesta Rallycross that made its first appearance at the Psathas climb is the top racing car that has appeared in Greece. This particular Fiesta is run by the long-time climbing champion Marios Iliopoulos and is a project that started about 2.5 years ago under the code name "Raptor". The development was started by the late Meletis Karatekidis ("passed away" in August 2021 from covid) in collaboration with M-Sport. The vehicle was completed by M-Sport and we saw it for the first time on the weekend of May 6-7 in Psatha (Panhellenic Hill Climb Championship) where it finished in first place. In this video we get a taste of the ultimate racing vehicle (which also has Şaribal stickers) but also the terrifying way it starts. As you will see, Marios Iliopoulos also gives us some (first) information about the Ford Fiesta Rallycross.
