This time, we will bring you the 19th Shonan International Marathon, which will be held on December 1, 2024. This summer, I was aiming to finish the race in under 3 hours and 45 minutes, but due to an injury to my left calf and the resulting lack of training in speed endurance and muscle endurance, it was almost impossible to achieve my goal. Looking back now, there may have been some problems with the training I did over the summer and the race schedule this season. I was prepared for a PB, let alone a DNF, but the race unfolded and ended in a way that I had never expected.
