Since first entering service in 1987, C56160 has been used for substitute towing of the SL Tsuwano Inari and SL Yamaguchi, and was retired from the Yamaguchi Line on May 6th after its last run on the "Thank You C56". On the previous day, May 5th, as part of the retirement commemoration, a double-headed run with D51200 was held. As there had never been a precedent for two spare locomotives for the Yamaguchi, this combination was the first and last. Although the bodies are different sizes, the two locomotives have the same diameter driving wheels. Please pay attention to the synchronized draft sound. #SLYamaguchi #D51200 #C56160 #doubleheaded
