About :

Julio Morresi: Father of Norberto Julio Morresi, activist of the Union of Secondary Students (UES). Norberto was kidnapped along with Luis María Roberto on April 23, 1976 at the intersection of Perito Moreno and Directorio, in the city of Buenos Aires. He was shot and buried as NN in the General Villegas cemetery. In May 1989, the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team (EAAF) found his remains, which were delivered to his parents Julio and Irma Morresi. Julio participated in the trials initiated in Italy for the Italian citizens who disappeared in Argentina. His story is told in the documentary “Padres de la Plaza. Diez rutas posibles” (Parents of the Plaza. Ten possible routes), directed by Joaquín Daglio and released in 2009. Currently, Julio is a member of Relatives of Disappeared and Detained for Political Reasons. He died on March 1, 2016.
