Ascent from the normal route starting from the Vallone di La Thuile from the hamlet of La Joux. First reach the Albert Deffeyes refuge (2494 m) and then climb to the Colle del Rutor (3373 m) via the Rutor glacier. From the pass, follow the terminal ridge.
