Welcome to the EPIC drag race of ICE vs. EV. We got our hands on the brand new Tesla Cybertruck, and it’s right up there with the Lamborghini Urus! But which will get us to the finish line faster – gas or electric? Well, let’s look at the numbers. Let’s start with the Cybertruck: it’s powered by three electric motors that produce a combined 845 hp and 665 lb-ft of torque. The dual-motor version starts at around $49,000, while the triple-motor Cyberbeast will set you back around $96,000! As for weight, the Cybertruck tips the scales at just over 7,500 pounds. And its top speed is 130 mph. And then there’s the Lambo. It’s powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 under the hood that produces 450 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an eight-speed torque converter transmission, and the car itself is much lighter than the Tesla, weighing in at 2,200 kg. The top speed is also much higher, at 190 mph. So the Cybertruck has the Urus beat in performance, but will the extra weight be a hindrance? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S GO!
