The lecture presents the Russian Clinical, Morphological and Statistical Classification of IHD, approved in September 2020 by the Presidium of the Board of the RSC. The lecture also discusses the relevance of terms related to IHD in ICD-10. The classification combines the differing points of view of clinicians, morphologists and specialists in medical statistics on certain issues related to the terminology of the diagnosis of IHD, as well as nosological forms in chronic and acute forms of IHD. The practical significance of this classification is to unify the establishment of clinical, morphological diagnoses for IHD and their encryption in all regions of the Russian Federation. This classification was prepared taking into account the International Classification of Diseases of the 11th revision approved by WHO, the use of which is planned to begin in 2022.
