Police in Pinhais, Paraná, are investigating the death of a 16-year-old teenager, which occurred after the girl went to a motel with her boyfriend last Wednesday (20). Lívia Izabel left the place practically lifeless, shortly after arriving, and was taken bleeding to an emergency care unit in the city. Her boyfriend, Lucas Nascimento de Carvalho, 29, reported to the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) that he went to the motel to take the girl's virginity, but that, during the sexual act, she began to bleed heavily and became ill. He then allegedly asked for help from the employees of the place, who dressed the young woman and helped her. However, she arrived at the hospital already unconscious. In room number 7, where the boyfriends stayed, the bed was completely bloody. In the room, they turned on the bathtub and only asked for a glass of water. According to the police, there were apparently no signs of violence on Lívia's body, but the hypothesis of homicide has not been ruled out. Lucas was detained at the police station and later released. The young man's lawyer accompanied him during his testimony to the officer in charge of the case. The police also point out that Lucas has an extensive criminal record, including crimes of robbery, receiving stolen goods, threats and attempted murder. Lívia's mother reportedly confirmed to the officers that the teenager was a virgin, and that she was opposed to her daughter's relationship due to the age difference between the two. The couple's cell phones were seized for analysis. The officer is awaiting the report from the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) to comment on the incident.
