This time I went on an expedition to Niigata! According to the local anglers, they had been catching a lot of fish up until a week before the photo shoot, but as usual, it was a disappointment when Longin went there... lol. Despite the extremely tough conditions, I managed to get a pattern for juvenile ayu and enjoyed midsummer river sea bass fishing! Basically, tail spin jigs such as vibrations and iriko are common for day games, but when eating young ayu, sinking pens are surprisingly better. Many other companies' sinking pens have a drooping posture, but LONGIN's Levin is designed to swim in a forward-leaning posture, making it more natural and difficult to see through. When sea bass are preying on young ayu, I recommend using the Levin series!
