About :

Basti suffers from neurofibromatosis type 1. He can no longer walk, can no longer see and can hardly speak. Despite this, with the support of his family and the "writeyoursong" team, he has written his own song. The title is "Today is my day". This is his credo, which motivates him every day. Basti's brothers David and Tobi made it possible for him to record his song by lending him their voices and singing the song for him. In addition, over 70 friends and fans supported him as a background choir! This is how something very special was created, much more than just a music video! This music project was supported by the German Childhood Cancer Foundation.
