Here we are with Maurizio Mondoni, an expert in the sports and motor sector, current professor of motor sciences and sports at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, author of numerous articles and speaker at many national and international Conferences, Congresses and Seminars in the fields of Physical Education, Physical Education, Basketball and Teaching and Training Methodology. Today #MaurizioMondoni is still a basketball and mini basketball instructor. Here we are with him to talk about #TGfU, a methodology now also modeled by scientific literature that has the aim of proposing a "game form" (i.e. a "basic game") that represents the "real" game in a simplified version. This “basic game” is the problem to analyze and its objective is to create a series of connections that allow players to realize what they have to do (not how they have to do it) in that particular moment in a conscious way (logic applied to movement), based on intuitions derived from the observation of the game itself. In short, we start from the “global”, from the observation by the Instructor of what the players are doing. This basic game allows the Instructor to realize the skills of his players.
