04.12.2023 - Wschodni Szczyt Żelaznych Wrot One of the most beautiful and exciting days I have ever spent in the Tatras. The joy of conquering one of the most difficult Tatra peaks in such extreme conditions is indescribable... After several days of snowfall, a weather window appeared which I decided to use by operating in the area of Popradski Staw. The initial assumption was to climb Zmarzły Szczyt but I changed my plan because the route to it, although easier - is a bit longer in time - in addition, I had already visited the Wschodni Szczyt Żelaznych Wrot in the summer and knew the course of the route very well. After 8 I set off from Popradski Staw and the first stage of the hike to the Złomisk Valley showed me that it would not be easy that day - paving in waist-deep snow was taking its toll. During the approach to the pass I had to change the option because there were quite avalanches there, but the fun started after reaching the ridge... I don't know how to describe it - I felt like I was in a remote area of the Himalayas conquering some virgin peak covered with snow... There is nothing more to write, I invite you to the film...
