Au: Well basically in my AU all four heroes of Tate no Yuusha were already born in that world where they were supposed to be summoned. And in this universe the heroes appear in a different way instead of being summoned and automatically receiving their cardinal weapons in my AU the cardinal weapons appear in some random place on the planet choosing their bearer and thus the heroes appear. However in this world there are only three cardinal weapons which are the spear, the sword and the bow (basically the shield does not exist in this AU). However, when the chosen heroes went to present themselves to the kingdom, among them there was a fourth man who declared himself a hero as well, which in this case was Naofumi, who was carrying a strange watch. Anyway, Naofumi, already knowing about his own past, needed a disguise to act as a hero because, unlike the story of Ben Ten, Naofumi never revealed his identity as a galactic hero who transforms into aliens. That's why he declared himself a hero to the kingdom. However, he didn't know that so much shit would happen because people began to belittle him, saying that the existence of a fourth hero, and even more so of a magic watch, was a flaw. Anyway, from here on, the story follows the same as Tate no Yuusha, where Malty betrays him, accusing Naofumi of abuse. The last different detail in the story is that Naofumi, instead of buying Raphtalia to be his sword, bought her out of pity for her, and as the two of them ventured on, he developed affection for her, just like in the original story.
