This time, we went on a bluefin tuna fishing trip on the Yanmar EX38 Animator, a fishing cruiser with a total length of over 12m! Since the water temperature was low during that time of year, we set sail from Miyazu, Kyoto and headed north to search for a good spot. The crew was so motivated that we went all the way to the north side of Okinoshima in Shimane Prefecture! We couldn't find a good response, so we spent the night on Okinoshima. The next day, while returning to Kyoto, we received information about a good spot and started casting. Today seemed like another trying day, but we found a spot with good response from the fish finder and sonar! All three of us got a hit and caught one. I was discouraged after missing two times, but I changed from a Stella SW20000 No. 10 tackle to an SW30000 No. 12 and kept casting, and got a hit.
