There was a heavy snowfall at night, and in the morning the air temperature began to rise sharply, from about -11° to +3° in just a few hours. When I got to the shooting location, the near part of the runway was covered with snow, but since the planes were landing and taking off from the other side, they apparently did not have time to clear it. It was at the moment when I started filming that the takeoff/landing direction changed. First, a machine spewed reagents, and then, seizing the moment, a whole column of snowplows drove by. But since takeoffs and landings did not stop, the planes landed and took off on snow slush, and then just on a wet strip with spectacular clouds of snow and spray.
