Khoai rented a motorbike for 500 twd (if you bargain well, it can be cheaper, the average price for renting a motorbike here higher than Taichung, because it is only a small city, less competition). And today Khoai will take everyone to visit Sun Moon Lake, the largest natural freshwater lake in Taiwan. Located at an altitude of about 750m above sea level, Sun Moon Lake has a generally cooler and fresher climate than Taipei or Taichung. Simply, Khoai came here just because he likes its peaceful atmosphere, the scenery is not too outstanding at this time (in spring, the peach blossoms will bloom more beautifully). It is quite a pity that because of limited time, Khoai can only buy a train ticket to travel between the surrounding towns and watch the sunset on the lake, there are not too many restaurants here, but thanks to that, finding a place to eat also makes me feel quite excited. On another occasion, Khoai will spend 2-3 hours renting a bicycle to ride along the lake, which will definitely be more enjoyable (around the lake is a road designed specifically for pedestrians and cyclists, also known as the most beautiful cycling road in Taiwan). At the end of the day, Khoai ate at a family restaurant by the lake and the must-try specialty when visiting here is steamed sturgeon with wild boar meat.
