Today’s story that Tang will tell you is a story of a murder case that shocked Hong Kong Island and maybe the world. Back in early March 2013, Hong Kong police received a report from a pair of siblings that their parents had gone missing. After that, the siblings created a social media page and even appeared in the media in the hope that someone would help find their parents. But then, the police encountered an unexpected event. While they were checking an apartment room in Tai Kok Tsui (大角咀, Tai Kok Tsui) in the Yau Tsim Wong district (油尖旺, Yau Tsim Mong) of the Kowloon Peninsula, they smelled a foul odor coming from inside one of the two refrigerators. When they opened them, what the police saw were the body parts of an elderly couple, as well as many food containers. In fact, they were not food, but human flesh that had been cut into pieces and cooked. The gruesome details of this murder case have shocked the public.
