Homosexuality in agriculture - that is still a taboo subject today. Maxi Knoller is 29 years old, an organic farmer in Dießen and has been happily married to his husband for nine months. But after he came out seven years ago, everything started to falter. Maxi was actually supposed to be the successor to the farm - everything seemed clear. But for his father, his world collapsed. What will happen to his life's work if his son is homosexual and, as his successor, has no children? The relationship is strained, Maxi has to move away from the farm. A difficult time for him... but his father is also fighting: against stupid comments from the farming community and with himself. Reporter Steffi Heiß reports on how Maxi Knoller experienced the time and how they managed to ensure that the coming out did not destroy the family in a new episode of Hofgeflüster. One day, one reporter, one taboo subject! In each Hofgeflüster episode, reporter Steffi Heiß visits a different farm.
