It had always annoyed me to have to drive on wedges in the evenings. A jack system was out of the question for weight reasons and air suspension was not technically possible because of the underfloor fresh water tank. In 2022, I came up with the idea of ​​making the bed levelable. My research on the Internet regarding a realization yielded no results. So I invented this solution with the linear motors. Originally, I had installed micro switches on the ends of the aluminum rails that triggered a buzzer when they touched the wood (those are the white cables you can see in the video). However, this turned out to be unnecessary for me, because after a few times I could hear when and where the rail touched down even without the buzzer - then the sound of the motor changes. Since then, I have been happy every evening and every morning that I don't have to handle the wedges in dirt and/or rain!
