With a waffle restaurant in Tampa, this dream is now to come true. Mike and Marina have already vacated their apartment in the Bernese Oberland. Now Mike has to close down his tattoo studio, which he ran alongside his job as a police officer. Then it's off to the States. But as soon as the emigrants land in Florida, their long-awaited dream goes into a tailspin. The coronavirus pandemic breaks out. Everything is delayed and the renovation of the waffle restaurant barely makes any progress. When they are finally able to open after months of delay, a lot of things go wrong. Despite all the difficulties, their business soon runs like clockwork. Actually, everything would be perfect now. Only 100-hour weeks are now the norm. One day, it is all too much for Mike.
