His version is not smooth with a layer of sugar but also has additional ingredients that make it a perfect snack for every child and every adult. The dough includes flour 0, eggs, butter, brewer's yeast and of course sugar but he decided to fill it so as to make it even more delicious and he puts in: apples, sultanas and pine nuts and what's more he accompanies this dessert/snack with a fantastic custard. Ingredients for the dough: 450 g of flour 0, 250 g of sugar, 50 ml of passito, 2 yellow apples, 20 g of sultanas, 20 g of pine nuts, 4 eggs, 200 g of butter, 10 g of brewer's yeast For the custard: ½ l of milk, 125 g of egg yolks, zest of 1 lemon Cooking: 200°C for 50 minutes
