On September 30, 2018, a station festival with many activities took place in Münsingen to mark the 125th anniversary of the opening of the Honau-Münsingen railway line. A special train from the Ulm Railway Friends, pulled by the freight locomotive 58 311, came from a long way from Karlsruhe. The rack steam locomotive 97 501, which once took trains over the long-disused and dismantled rack section from Honau to Lichtenstein, was a guest from Reutlingen. The oldest Württemberg locomotive still in working order, the T3, offered rides in the driver's cab on the Münsingen railway site with an exemplary restored platform car. Railbus and steam train rides to Schelklingen and Engstingen were also on offer, as was a mini railway for children and carriage rides around the railway site.
