In the following video we will go step by step through what I changed on this bike, purchased in 2022 (built in 2005) to bring it to showroom condition. Almost 20 years later, every part of original make made in Japan is still for sale, just search the internet and always check the original reference number!! Please note that the cost of a restoration is usually higher than the later possible sales price, possibly the K5 is an exception?! Doing it yourself is almost necessary because the professional charges 85 € per hour and after 2 years you easily reach 100 hours which would mean 8500 € and this without expensive parts! But definitely a nice project!
