Do you know what food insecurity is and how to classify it? Classified into three levels: mild, moderate and severe, food insecurity is one of the main problems in the world and in Brazil it could not be different. Despite being considered a right for everyone, the growth of social inequality has made it difficult to adequately access sufficient, safe and nutritious food necessary to meet the daily needs of the population - which constitutes the definition of food security. In addition to poverty, natural disasters, climate change and inadequate food systems have also contributed to this scenario of food insecurity.
