Special report shows the SUS waiting lines in Porto Alegre. More than 130 thousand patients are waiting in line for surgery in the capital alone. According to reports, people have been waiting since 2010. Between 2023 and 2024, almost 2,500 people from Rio Grande do Sul died while waiting in line for consultations and surgeries in the SUS.
