#suriname #vegan #garden #organic #vegetable garden / @adventurewithboyke Our allotment garden in the greenhouse is a kind of family business, together with all the gardeners in the greenhouse they form a large family who share a passion for gardening and tasty vegetables. The big advantage of growing in a greenhouse is that the growing season is extended. The soil in the greenhouse warms up faster in the spring and stays warm longer in the fall, allowing them to harvest earlier and for longer. The soil acts as a heat buffer when the air cools down. In the winter it can also freeze in the greenhouse, but because there is no wind blowing through the greenhouse, the temperature always remains more comfortable than outside and you can grow and harvest vegetables all year round. In the summer, the temperatures in OUR greenhouse are tropical. Mediterranean and exotic crops such as melon, eggplant, antroewa, garter, bitawiri and amsoi (this is a small list of our diverse range of plants and seeds) therefore grow very well.
