Surah Luqman interpretation is explained in 4 parts. 1. In verses 1-5 of Surah Luqman, information is given about the Quran, the book of wisdom, guidance and mercy, and it is explained that the basic characteristics of those who benefit from the Quran are those who believe, perform prayers, give alms and believe in the Day of Judgment. 2. In verses 6 and 7 of Surah Luqman, the characteristic attitudes of the Meccan polytheists are summarized, and it is explained that they have abandoned the word that is true and have taken vain words to divert from the path of Allah, and that today people harm people's afterlife with vain words and vain pursuits. 3. In the 8th and 9th verses of Surah Luqman, the Meccan polytheists drew similarities between the Quran and some words that were like stories and tales, made a mockery of the revelation, and in this way they aimed to lead others astray from the path of Allah just as they themselves were astray; when the verses of Allah were read to them, they would become arrogantly proud and display complete insensitivity and indifference. 4. In the 10th and 11th verses of Surah Luqman, after it is stated how the Divine power created living and non-living entities, the idolaters are addressed as follows: “These are the creations of Allah; now show me what anyone has created besides Him?” It is emphasized that worshipping any being other than Allah is both illogical and unjust. When Our verses are read to him, he turns away with arrogance, as if he could not hear, as if there were heaviness in his ears. Give him good tidings of a painful punishment. (31/Luqman, 7) 8. Indeed, for those who believe and do righteous deeds are Gardens of Pleasure. (31/Luqman, 8) 9. They will abide therein forever. The promise of Allah is true. He is the Almighty, the Wise. (31/Luqman, 9) 10. He created the heavens without pillars. You can see it. He has driven stakes into them, lest the earth shake you, and He has spread out in it every living creature. We send down water from the sky and have created in it pairs of every beautiful plant. (31/Luqman, 10) 11. This is what Allah has created. Show me what He has created besides Him? (No, not at all!)
