The World loses a star. Of Fashion, of customs, of society, of a culture that, starting from creativity, has become a style and a symbol of elegance. Rosita Jelmini Missoni, who with her beloved husband Ottavio founded a clothing brand known throughout the Planet, has passed away at the age of 94. Married in 1953, Ottavio and Rosita took their first steps in Gallarate, in a laboratory in which they forged their unmistakable, and for the time unprecedented, combination of colors. In 1966 the first fashion show and the consolidation of a brand that has brought our territory to every corner of the Globe. Rosita (born in Golasecca) and Ottavio (exiled, in fact, have never broken their roots: they have always kept the company headquarters in Sumirago and have often participated in events and initiatives organized in the area.
