On Sunday, 6/08/2023, the Open Spinning Competition for the Sulejowski Reservoir Cup took place in Barkowice – Mokre. It was organized by Circle No. 12 Piotrków – Miasto. The event gathered spinning enthusiasts from Piotrków circles, and colleagues from Skierniewice also came. Despite unfavorable weather conditions, 20 competitors signed up for the competition. The competition started at 5:00 a.m. with the drawing of starting numbers and boats. After preparing them, the competitors fished from 6:00 to 1:00 p.m. The judges' boat circled among the anglers and fish in good condition were measured and released into the water on an ongoing basis. The dominant fish of the competition turned out to be perch 26 pcs., then pike 3 pcs., zander 1 pc., asp 1 pc. The largest fish of the competition was a pike 74.1 cm. caught by Piotr Marcinowski. The Sulejowski Reservoir was kind to 14 competitors, who passed the competition by catching a sizeable fish. The best competitors were honored with cups and valuable prizes; the Sulejowski Reservoir Cup was won by Krzysztof Różański who caught 2 pikes and a pike-perch, second place Piotr Marcinowski - pike + 2 perches, third place Robert Fabiański 5 perches, fourth place Jacek Hejchman -1 asp, fifth - Marek Lisiecki, 6th -Czarek Duk.
