About :

This time, we have collaborated with the transportation YouTuber "Suit"! This is the first time in Japan that Suit has collaborated with an official local government YouTube channel! This is the first time that Suit has ridden the Chikuhi Line (Yamamoto-Imari) and the Matsuura Railway! This content can be enjoyed by not only railway fans and Suit fans, but also those who are not. Enjoy the train journey in Saga Prefecture, which progresses with overwhelming knowledge about trains and travel and his unique way of speaking. Suit came to Karatsu on the JR Chikuhi Line from Fukuoka City. First, we headed to Iki Station and Yamamoto Station on the Karatsu Line from Karatsu Station. We will tell you about the charms of both stations, where old station buildings remain. From Yamamoto Station, we changed to the Chikuhi Line and went to Imari Station. For lunch, we enjoyed an Imari beef meal served in a dish made in the Edo period to the Taisho period. From Imari Station, we headed to Arita Station on the Matsuura Railway. Suit rides trains all over the country, but this is his first time riding the Chikuhi Line (Yamamoto-Imari) and the Matsuura Railway, so he is very enthusiastic about his explanations. Upon arriving in Arita Town, we will visit Suyama Shrine, famous for the railway tracks crossing the approach to the shrine, the townscape of the Uchiyama district, which is an important preservation district for groups of traditional buildings, Izumiyama Magnet Field, and Kamiarita Station, and unravel the ceramic culture and history that Arita has woven. *The filming was done after taking measures to prevent the spread of infection, such as mandatory temperature checks and hand disinfection, and thorough ventilation.
