A natural history series about the primeval forest National Parks of Slovakia. 2022 Nowhere in our country is there such a large, compact area of forest as in the Poloniny National Park. There are very few human settlements in the landscape of the Bukovské vrchy. Animals move here without being threatened by cars on highways, insects and plants are not isolated on islands marked out elsewhere by dense road infrastructure. The inhabitants have never cut down too much of the forests here.
