Lea is in her first semester of studying physics at Philipps University in Marburg. The course is very demanding, which is evident from the fact that half of all students drop out. Many are put off by the high proportion of mathematics - the language of physics. But Lea has chosen physics because she wants to understand how the world works. She also works as a research assistant in the Molecular Solid State Physics group and has the special honor of taking a sample from the laboratory to the Helmholtz Center in Berlin to examine it more closely. But before that can happen, she has to prepare her sample in a vacuum. Not an easy task, because if she makes a mistake here, she won't have time for a second attempt. #Physics #PhysicsStudy #alphaUni You can find out more about the admission requirements and career opportunities here: https://ardalpha.de/s/5vgVJJB Author and editor: Mathias Ahlmer Camera: Michael Ackermann CvD: Lukas Hellbrügge Channel management: Marinus Zängerl Project management: Lennart Bedford-Strohm Editor: Corinna Benning ---------------------------------- Are you looking for your dream course or your dream job? alpha Uni helps you find both!
