The collapse of Afghanistan in 2021, the Russian attack on Ukraine from February 2022 and the unprecedented terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel in 2023 have once again brought the question of the prerequisites, possibilities and limits of strategic intelligence in foreign, security policy and military decision-making processes into focus with great urgency. To explain what findings research has provided on this issue and what conclusions can be drawn for decision-making structures and processes, Professor Dr. Christoph Meyer from King's College, London, will speak and discuss. With numerous publications and consulting services, he has shaped the debate on strategic intelligence for years. Given the escalation of security policy challenges, his findings and assessments are more topical and relevant than ever.
