Anglers are the most important guardians of inland waters in this country. As tenants of fishing rights, fishing clubs are legally obliged to look after and care for their waters. The stocking fish project, together with 18 fishing clubs in Lower Saxony, investigated whether their commitment to stocking fish is sustainable: for nature, the club's coffers and the angler's happiness. Join the research team from the Berlin Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries and its followers on a five-year research trip through the depths of our waters, where people near the water are not neglected either.
