A covered area is to be created behind my workshop. I will show you step by step how I assemble the basic structure from KVH timbers and explain the individual work steps via voice-over. I have already paved the area and provided it with five point foundations. I have embedded H-anchors in the front foundations. On the wall where the wall purlin construction is being built, I use U-anchors for additional stability. In addition, the posts are doweled to the wall. For this, I use injection dowels. The majority of the construction consists of 10x10 cm KVH beams, while the rafters have dimensions of 6x8 cm. In the next part, I will show you how I solder a gutter for the first time, attach the roof battens and finally attach the trapezoidal sheet. If you have any questions or tips on how I can improve, then post them in the comments.
