On June 27th and 29th, 2015, two special trains with steam traction were running on the legendary Gotthard Railway in Switzerland, Canton Uri. The two DB steam locomotives 01 202 and 01 150, as well as the French 141.R.1244, could be seen and heard. The historic electric locomotives Re 4/4I 10016 and Ae 6/6 11411 were used as supply locomotives. Another special train was pulled by the also historic Ae 4/7. On the way up I was able to watch the trains in Wassen (where the weather unfortunately didn't play along) and in Göschenen, and on the way back in Wassen and in Erstfeld. It was a thoroughly successful spectacle, many thanks to the organizers!
