The penultimate day of the 012s from Rheine in scheduled service on the Emsland line near Salzbergen and Lingen. Exactly 45 years - to the day - after the recording date, I re-scanned this Super 8 film with my new scanner (self-converted brand). The film frames were recorded with Sony Alpha 6300 using single image recordings in 4k and cleaned, stabilized, sharpened and interpolated to 50fps using software. On this recording day in May 1975, the Rheine 012s showed everything they could do. But the 42s and 43s were not spared by their locomotive staff either and wanted to imitate the 012s with impressive performances. Unique recordings with original sound were made, which simply had to be prepared again for you with the best tools. Suddenly and completely unexpectedly, a T3 was standing in front of my recording location in Salzbergen. The old lady came back freshly polished from the 100th anniversary celebration in Lingen. All in all, a picture-perfect film! Enjoy watching it! From now on, I will re-edit all my films with my super scanner and my software.
