A series of video guides to learn about and visit Parks, Reserves and Natural Monuments of Lazio, told through the words of some of the protagonists: staff of the management bodies, enthusiasts and scholars. We tell you about the biodiversity and geodiversity of the Tenuta di Castelporziano State Nature Reserve. Established with Ministerial Decree 12 May 1999, the Tenuta di Castelporziano is an important protected area of approximately 6,000 hectares belonging to the Presidency of the Republic. The Reserve is located entirely in the Municipality of Rome and represents an intact strip of the Lazio coast, south of the Tiber, largely affected by wooded environments to the point of representing, as a whole, one of the most important coastal plain forests in all of Italy.
