But her real turning point came when her family bought a nearly abandoned hotel in Belgium and Pauline decided to return to take up the challenge. She started at the bottom of the ladder, working as a dishwasher for 500 euros per month, and climbed the ladder one by one. In 2017, she took over as general manager of the hotel, transforming it into a thriving establishment. Pauline tells us about the challenges she faced, including skepticism and harassment from some employees, as well as the need to prove her credibility as a young woman at the head of a family business. In addition to her successes in the hotel industry, Pauline was able to capitalize on web marketing to increase the visibility of her hotel.
