The Fuzileiro Real channel recorded the beginning of the Marine Corps training course. The Marine Corps Training Course (C-FSD-FN) is conducted at the Admiral Milcíades Portela Alves Training Center (CIAMPA) and the Brasília Training and Instruction Center (CIAB). It lasts 106 school days, 61 days of which are boarding school and 45 days of semi-boarding school (leave on weekends, without prejudice to the duty schedule and at the Commander's discretion), totaling 18 weeks and a total workload of 968 hours. The purpose of the course is to prepare the students of the Marine Corps Training Course (AFSD-FN) to perform the function related to the Marine Corps Soldier (SD-FN) and during the 18 weeks of the course the actual instructional activities will be conducted. It is important to note that from the 1st to the 8th week, the regime is boarding school, with 7 school days, and from the 9th to the 18th week, the regime is semi-boarding school, with 5 school days; In the 1st week of the course, the Adaptation period will be held, in which the CFSD-FN candidates indicated for enrollment, who present themselves for such, will be admitted and enrolled. This Adaptation period is characterized by preparatory administrative activities and the application of the initial Physical Aptitude Test (TAF), as an instructional activity. During this period, the newly admitted student will confirm, or not, his/her interest in a naval career. The instructional activities are conducted over 8 daily class periods of 45 minutes each, with 15-minute breaks between them. Practical Instructions that need to be conducted at night will be given after sunset and, on these days, the number of daily TAs will be exceeded. During the 17th and 18th weeks of the course, the Camp Exercise will be held, during which students will participate in mandatory practical activities in order to consolidate the theoretical knowledge acquired in the previous weeks. If necessary, the weekends of the semi-boarding period may be used to tutor students with Low Academic Performance (BDA) or Low Physical Performance (BDF), as well as to make up for classes missed due to force majeure, such as: interruption of water or electricity supply, unfavorable weather conditions, outbreaks of epidemic diseases. The Workload (CH) used for tutoring and make up for missed classes will be computed from the Reserve Time CH.
