With his shoes planted in the ground and his nose turned towards the stars, Man has been dreaming of space for almost forever. When it came out in 1977, Star Wars crystallized a whole spatial imagination around its ships that go cheep-cheep-cheep, its lightsabers or its religious orders full of knights in long capes. Star Wars is not just the Skywalker dynasty. It is a world rich in exciting politics, future technologies from the year 2000 and adorable populations that children of all ages have been fighting over as stuffed animals at the Disney Store for almost 50 years. On this (almost) May 4, Super Vieux Jeux pays tribute to all these games, good, not so good, superb or infamous, which have extended the Star Wars saga out of theaters and onto our small screens. The subject is vast, of course, and as usual, our contextualization lasts an hour, so we have, somewhat arbitrarily, decided to only cover vintage games, dated from the first or second film trilogy.
