Hey, in this episode of the Postwar series I go back to World War II, when one of the most famous German commanders was captured by the Soviets. I'm talking about Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus. The co-creator of Operation Barbarossa fell into Stalin's hands after the defeat at Stalingrad. In the latest film I talk about what happened after the lost battle. Did he return to Germany? How was he treated both during the war and after it ended? Did Stalin actually have a plan for him to create a new German government? You will find out in this installment of my series.
